When Duke played Harlem for the first time back in 1927, his jazz was sizzling hot and his vibe was cooler than cool, and no one had ever heard anything like it. I ordered 4 travel sized candles (Ellington, Speakeasy, Sugar Hill, and Savoy) because I honestly didn't know how to pick just one. And I still can't pick a favorite of the bunch! I love them all for very different reasons and for different moods. Ellington is such a lovely scent--it feels very balanced between masculine and feminine scents and gives me the feeling of a warm hug from an old friend. It's very comforting and has a gentle lingering scent without being overpowering or overwhelming.

LOVE this candle
I have never bought a candle without smelling it in person because I can be pretty sensitive. But I wanted to branch out of my usual fragrances for something new. First, I love the affordability of these travel candles. I ordered two, the Ellington and the Savoy. And wow, both fragrances are HEAVENLY. I lit the Ellington while working from home yesterday afternoon and it was relaxing and sultry without being overwhelming. Highly recommend and I will be buying full sizes! I think Harlem will be my new go-to for candles!
