Harlem Candle Company
"Speakeasy" Luxury Candle
Our newest fragrance in the collection evokes the night, its mystery and forbidden touch…Speakeasy.
People would slip into hidden clubs, tucked behind storefronts. The thrill of the forbidden was unmatched—embodied by sensual flavors of vanilla and dark chocolate. The simple nod of a doorman would whisk you away to an unfamiliar world: dark, loud, pulsing with excitement.
Auras of palo santo and tobacco swirled the gambling tables where men rotated between cocktails and cigars. On the dance floor, perfumes of swaying women infused the air, creating a sweet elixir of licorice and plum blossom.
Middle: Saffron, Licorice, Plum blossom, Tobacco leaves

I own about 8 of these fabulous candles! Speakeasy takes me back to dancing in my brownstone in the 70s before switching to my soothing jazz. The scent is so msmerizing! I can not get enough of it!!! Now, bring on Lady Day!
This scent is one of my favorites from the Harlem Candle Company. It is so well blended and smells exactly like it's described. I love how I can pick up on the lovely scent of the plum and dark chocolate. The candle is one of my favorites for an evening or late night. Each time I close my eyes, this candle whisks me away to a Speakeasy in Harlem! I love it!
The smell reminds me of tobacco, leather, and vanilla. A nice rich masculine smell that’s warming and relaxing. The smell fills my bedroom quickly and last a good whole. Coincidently, while the candle is burning, I like to listen to some jazz while I’m relaxing in my room reading.
This candle smells gorgeous - I burn it with the James Baldwin Love candle and together they make the whole house smell divine. The color of the glass while the candle is burning adds the most beautiful ambience to the room. Love this candle!
My favorite of the HCC line thus far; it is exquisite. I burn Speakeasy with Langston together but, make no mistake - Speakeasy is a beautiful scent on its own.
